Cool breeze hits me in the face
I close my eyes to meditate for the moment
To hear the whispers of where I belong

So many days, So many nights
So many roads, So many flights
Let the music carry me away
I drift for days
I’m so far from where I’m from

Lemme get home
Home where I belong
Lemme get home
Where the roots grow thick and strong
Lemme get home

See the sun set across the sky
I smile at a man as he walks by
He’s a stranger, they’re all strangers
There’s not a familiar face for miles

So many days, So many nights
So many roads, So many flights
Let the music carry me away
I drift for days
I’m so far from where I’m from

Lemme get home
Home where I belong
Lemme get home
Where the roots grow thick and strong
Lemme get home

Cool breeze hits me in the face
I close my eyes to meditate for the moment
To hear the whispers of where I belong
So many days, So many nights
So many roads, So many flights
Let the music carry me away
I drift for days
I’m so far from where I’m from
Lemme get home
Home where I belong
Lemme get home
Where the roots grow thick and strong
Lemme get home
Lemme get home
Home where I belong

Lemme get home
Where the roots grow thick and strong
Lemme get home
